There were a number ...
There were a number of prominent Deists in the early history of the country. But it would be a misrepresentation to call John Adams a Deist. We have quite a bit of correspondence on these subjects from him, he? left little doubt he wasn't Deist. He left his first church in favor of the Unitarians because of his disbelief in the Trinity. He believed that God was superior to Jesus and gave Jesus his power and divinity. Not at all Deist, just anti-Trinity.

your welcome.?
your welcome.?

This is the first ...
This is the first video response I've ever gotten to one of my videos. Thanks for that, and thanks for subscribing. For a while, I actually did look at Christianity as a philosophical view on life, but as I said in my video, once I got away from all that high emotion, my faith began to wither away. I'm glad you liked my video, and thanks again for the subscription and for the response. It was a real surprise to? see both of them.

That? could well be ...
That? could well be. The UU accepts everyone as far as I know and has no dogmatic beleifs as an institution.

I think? the Deists ...
I think? the Deists became Unitarians. Which is now known as the Unitarian-Universalist church ( the UU ). Four past Presidents of the United States were Unitarians: John Adams John Quincy Adams Millard Fillmore William Howard Taft
